My love of photography started in 2008 with the purchase of a digital SLR for a safari holiday to Kenya. Coming home with memory cards filled to the brim, I realised that my camera was the means to keep those precious memories alive.

Given that lions and leopards are less accessible to me back in not so sunny Scotland, I honed my skills on the more readily available dogs, cats and children of friends and family. I’ve even ‘shot’ the occasional mouse!

I soon discovered that it was enormously rewarding to capture the people and animals that we love and creating timeless portraits to treasure forever. I believe that every pet and child has his or her own unique personality and character, and capturing this is what brings me, and hopefully you, joy.

I have extensive experience with a wide range of models, both animal and human and have been published in magazines and national newspapers. I love to use the beauty of natural light wherever possible. I'm also fully insured and Disclosure Scotland checked.
